WACOL stands for WomenAid Collective. We are an independent, non governmental, non-profit organisation. We are dedicated and committed to helping women and young people in need. We are gender conscious and work towards gender equality and human rights for all.

WACOL was founded in November 1997 with its headquater in Enugu and branch offices in Port Harcourt, and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Nigeria. It is registered with the Coporate Affairs Commission as a charitable organisation (N0 RC 388132).

WACOL exists to help women and young people whose rights are threatend and / or have been denied and who are subjected to phyisical,mental, and/or sexual abuse.

The aim of WACOL is to increase legal protection and fight for better choices for abused women and children, facilitate flow of information and experiences between organisation, and develop appropriate Information, Education and Communication materials that will be used in advocacy for human rights of women and young people. At the moment WACOL maintains a combined staff strength of forty-five spread across our six offices.

Civic Life International is an organization dedicated to using dialogue,deliberation and media strategies to uncover emerging issues facing people and communities and strengthening the competencies of citizen, institutions and governments to respond to these challenges. We work in local communities in Africa and United States.

We believe that an educated, engaged and deliberative citizenry is not only vital to a healthy democracy but also to a peaceful, healthy and vibrant community. We know a bit about convening dialogue and deliberation events.

Rather than use one method, we weave multiple Indigenous and contemporary approaches into more holistic programs that meet a variety of needs, serve many community-building functions, and feed into each other in creative and useful ways.

Our Mission is to work for the establishment of a credible, democratic, multi stakeholder decision making and conflict management mechanism through the use deliberative techniques, inquiry, reflection and group-inclusive interventions.

YOUTH GOLDEN - PATH INITIATIVE (YOGOPATI), IS a non -governmental, non-political, charity organization established for the sole purpose of developing an agenda for the indigenous youth towards self-emancipation, reliance and independence through youth empowerment, capacity building and the promotion of a peace culture, Youth Golden - Path Initiative is a multi ethnic organisation that has a balanced representation of both genders.

Our initiative runs through all the facets of the human development especially the youth age. These include health issues, education, job creation, skill development and acquisition, arts, information technology and rehabilitatory processes.
